Energy Management

How It Works

Field meters, sensors, card readers and other serial equipment connect to EBox-AIO over RS-232, RS-485 or Ethernet. The controller runs embedded Linux on an ARM RISC core and processes data on the device — decisions are made on site and drive field equipment through the digital outputs, while data that needs a different protocol is converted and forwarded to the host system. The built-in web server doubles as a lightweight remote monitoring interface, and USB or SD expansion adds storage. Development means writing the application only, with no driver, OS or loader work.
