Energy Management
Multiple inverters are chained from the unit’s RS-485 port; each site processes its data on the device before it is consolidated to a remote server over cloud or WAN — suited to multi-site solar installations.

Energy Saving
Digital and analog I/O handle on-site switching and sensor acquisition directly; the data can be converted and processed on the platform, then sent to a remote server over WAN or 4G.

RFID Identification
Card readers connect over a serial port; the controller evaluates each read on site and drives barriers and other field equipment without waiting on a back-end host.

Substation Power Dispatch
Each substation runs one EBox-AIO that daisy-chains several RTUs over RS-485 to read field data and converts their protocols on the device; every site then consolidates to the remote dispatch server over LAN/WAN for centralised management across sites.

Distributed Monitoring
Controllers are distributed across monitoring zones, each collecting locally and reporting into one host system — suited to IT rooms, large plants and central air-conditioning where points are spread out.

How It Works
Field meters, sensors, card readers and other serial equipment connect to EBox-AIO over RS-232, RS-485 or Ethernet. The controller runs embedded Linux on an ARM RISC core and processes data on the device — decisions are made on site and drive field equipment through the digital outputs, while data that needs a different protocol is converted and forwarded to the host system. The built-in web server doubles as a lightweight remote monitoring interface, and USB or SD expansion adds storage. Development means writing the application only, with no driver, OS or loader work.
